FT- Permanent Human Resources - Learning and Development

at Career Builders Consulting in Selangor-Petaling Jaya

INDUSTRY: RETAILER
LOCATION: PETALING JAYA
SALARY RANGE: RM96,000 – 180,000 plus benefit

Our client is a leading retailer, with many branches and is expected to double its numbers over the next 3 years. Due to its expansion, they are currently looking for a Senior HR professional with core expertise in Learning and Development.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Formulate and build the Learning and Development strategy for this international retailer.
  • Lead in th development of Competence Framework for the organisation.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for the organization.
  • Develop, implement and manage training programs to cover all gaps identified, in line with the organization’s vision & mission.
  • Lead in-house course development and managing part-time trainers and certified in-house trainers globally for soft skills courses.
  • Formulating, designing and delivering training programs, guidelines and manuals in line with the organization’s overall vision, mission, core values and corporate objectives.
  • Identifying existing and future training requirements and ensure all training needs are aligned with overall business and organization goals.
  • Accelerating overall organizational effectiveness by implementing an integrated training, learning, and performance support function designed to help employees maintain knowledge and develop skills required for effective performance
  • Leading a team in planning, developing and provide training to target employees using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom, online training, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops across the region.
  • Establishing and continuously improving the learning and development system for the region by setting annual learning and development plan and responsible for successful implementation in line with headquarters, regional and country office requirements and standards
  • Designing and supporting global on-boarding program and buddy (mentoring)for new hire systems to foster positive attitude towards company.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management/Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum: 10 years experience in Human Resources Department.6 years in Learning and Development.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Analytical thinker. Brilliant problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English. Experience in Retail industry will be advantageous.
