Senior Marketing Manager

Compensation: More than RM200,000 per annum package.
An European MNC and listed company in KLSE with strong financial standing and reputation for its industrial marketing capabilities is looking for a Senior Marketing who will manage the strategic aspects of marketing. With its turnover in the billions of RM and enjoying leadership position in its market segment, the individual will be a key contributor towards the corporate performance. The organization is a firm believer in maximizing its human assets through a life long learning and continuous improvement process. With a strategy to incorporate FMCG type marketing initiatives, we are looking for an individual to handle the following;
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the marketing strategy and hold primary responsibility for product life cycle and market share of its range of products.
- Responsible for product planning, portfolio positioning, articulating and defining market requirements and developing strategic alliances for the full range of products.
- Provide strong leadership and mentoring to multi-disciplinary team in formulating the marketing strategies, communications plan and promotions through careful profiling the competition.
- Responsible for the coordination of the above development, implementation and support of products.
- Work closely with the Sales Organization and is instrumental in supporting the closure of sales, defining marketing plans to support sales execution and profiling the competition.
- Develop and successfully implement the processes and execution support including vendor management in terms of events, advertising, database and marketing fulfillment of the Sales Organization.
- Champion strategy and execution of end-to-end marketing orchestration and processes.
- Participate in business planning and across business units to plan and strategize execution for marketing and communication campaigns
- Provide consultancies in every stage of marketing program execution
- Co-own messaging and brand management for customer and partner communications
- Work closely to assess and integrate Public Relations elements in marketing execution
- Ensure tight fulfillment process to provide good experience for customers and partners the person
REQUIREMENTS
- Aged between mid thirties to early forties.
- Degree or MBA in Marketing or Business
- Possess 10 years experience in the management position for the distribution OR direct marketing line for specialty products distribution;
- Minimum of 5 years Direct Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Relationship Marketing experience with exposure to Regional Sales & Business Development in SEA markets;
- Ability to perform strong financial analysis
- Strategic thinking, process management and commitment to product line
- Demonstrated leadership skills and takes a very hands on approach.
- Demonstrated self-started with ability to motivate people
- Ability to work in a team environment while maintaining a leadership position
- Knowledge of building materials or industrial marketing, would be advantageous.
- Must have a results oriented focus along with proven abilities in decision making, prioritization, planning and customer focus;
- Superior analytical, communication and operational management skills
- Understanding of the Enterprise Sales Model
- Ability to effectively communicate across multiple business units and segments
